Prince Henry (born Henry Charles Albert David), known as Prince Harry, is the son of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. He appears in Season 5 of The Crown. In The Crown, he is portrayed by Teddy Hawley and Will Powell in Season 5, Fflyn Edwards and Luther Ford in Season 6.
Biography[]
Prince Harry is Charles and Diana's younger son and the third-in-line for the British throne. Prince Harry was born in the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in London on 15 September 1984. While he was named Henry, growing up he was commonly referred to as "Harry".
Harry and his older brother, William, were raised at Kensington Palace in London, and Highgrove House in Gloucestershire. Harry began accompanying his parents on official visits at an early age; his first overseas tour was with his parents to Italy in 1985. He also travelled with his family to Canada in 1991 and 1998.
William and Harry's mother died in a car crash in Paris. Harry and William were staying with their father at Balmoral at the time, and the Prince of Wales told his sons about their mother's death.
After his mother's death, Harry started to rebel more in his teen years. He even wore a Nazi costume and the press tore him apart for it. Harry struggled living in his brother's shadow and being "second".
