Maurice Harold Macmillan was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1957 until 1963, when he resigned on health grounds. Before becoming Prime Minister, he was both Secretary for Foreign Affairs and Chancellor of the Exchequer under his predecessor, Anthony Eden. In The Crown, he is portrayed by Anton Lesser.
