Clement Attlee,1st Earl Attlee KG, OM, CH, KstJ, PC, FRS, TD is a character on Netflix's series The Crown. He is played by Simon Chandler.
Attlee serves as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1945 until 1951 and leader of the opposition from 1935 until 1940 and then again from 1951 until 1955.

Season 1[]
Attlee first appears before the beginning of the Wedding of Princess Elizabeth to Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. He annoyingly motions to his party colleagues to sit after mistakenly standing for the arrival of Sir Winston Churchill, who received an enthusiastic applause from the crowds.
He later appears during the Great Smog of London. Downing Street insiders and Attlee attempt to have Churchill removed from office due to his continued inaction over the smog. Elizabeth reluctantly summons Churchill for an audience. However, an impassioned speech by Churchill later on, promising to prevent future smog and the dissipation of the smog changes the Queen's mind, much to Attlee's disappointment.
